Vincent Lovegrove (ex–singer of The Valentines with Bon) introduced him to AC/DC. “Bon used to hang with the band when we played in Adelaide,” remembers Dave Evans. “He knew George Young and Harry Vanda; in the 60s, Bon’s old band recorded one of The Easybeats’ songs, ‘My Old Man’s A Groovy Old Man’, with Vince. Vince now had a booking agency and did the bookings for AC/DC in South Australia. ” By the time he met up with AC/DC, Bon had already led a colourful life.
